To provide a safe and secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and employees. Protect hospital buildings, assets, and premises as assigned.
Safety & Security background desired. Work independently. Preference for protective service, public relations aptitudes, communication skills, safety-conscious, clerical accuracy, observant, investigative, empathetic and understanding, mechanically inclined; able to control emergency, crisis and stress situations; independent thinking/sound judgment; physically able and proficient in self-defense.
High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D., plus one (1) year supervised training pertinent experience desirable. Varied in-service participation is required; continuing education recommended. Obtain IAHSS Basic Security Officer Certification within one (1) year
Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License
