Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Principal HR Systems Analyst to join our Global HR Technology Team, with a focus on SuccessFactors Employee Central. This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the U.S/Europe/UK. This role is critical in supporting the organization's HR technology landscape, ensuring the stability, scalability, and optimization of Employee Central and its integrations with other SuccessFactors modules and HR applications.
The Principal HR Systems Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Employee Central, working closely with HR, IT, and key business stakeholders to translate HR business processes into system requirements, execute configurations, and manage system enhancements in a global HR environment. The Principal HR Systems Analyst will also be responsible for evaluating releases, identifying potential cross-module impacts through partnership with other Global HR Technology team members.
This role requires deep technical and functional expertise in SuccessFactors EC, including data model management, business rules, workflows, permissions, reporting, and release management.
The following are the responsibilities related to the - Principal HR Systems Analyst position:
Act as a functional SME for Employee Central, with a deep understanding of global HR business processes related to employee lifecycle events (hire, transfer, promotion, termination, etc.).
Translate HR business requirements into technical system configurations and document changes in configuration workbooks.
Manage Foundation Objects, Business Rules, Picklists, Workflows, Role-Based Permissions, and Notifications.
Perform hands-on system configuration and partner with IT teams for integration support including Active Directory sync, payroll, benefits, and third-party vendors.
Conduct an impact analysis of enhancement requests and new EC features (releases).
Understand cross-module dependencies (e.g., EC to Compensation, EC to Recruiting, EC to Payroll).
Audit EC data loads, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure data consistency across integrated systems.
Lead testing efforts in non-production environments to validate changes before deployment.
Leverage SuccessFactors reporting tools (Table Reports, Story Reports, etc.) to support business needs.
Maintain translations across all modules to support a multi-language, global workforce.
Ensure data privacy and compliance with GDPR and other global regulations.
Serve as the first line of support for HR and business users, troubleshooting system issues and resolving tickets.
Partner with HR COEs, IT, and external vendors to drive system enhancements and process improvements.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
5 years of experience supporting SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Demonstrated experience in configuring and maintaining Employee Central.
Proven ability to translate business needs into system requirements and perform hands-on configurations.
Experience working in a global environment, understanding regional HR requirements, compliance, and localization needs.
Experience with SuccessFactors release management, including assessing impacts across modules and preparing HR teams for system updates.
Ability to troubleshoot HR system issues, manage service requests, and provide user support.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SuccessFactors integrations (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation, or LMS).
Experience with SuccessFactors Reporting tools.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for system implementations and enhancements.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $120K - $140K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
