Novant Health Inpatient Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider in Wilmington, North Carolina

Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider to join a collaborative Pulmonary team of 5 physicians and 7 APPs in Wilmington, NC. This position is an inpatient only position that will see pulmonary and critical care patients in the ICU. This position works 7on/7off (eleven-hour shifts) and is a mix of daytime and nighttime shifts. This position will work holidays & weekends. Pulmonary &/or critical care experience required.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree Required.Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program required

Experience: One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting Preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA license in appropriate state Required

NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry Required

ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) Required

Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
