Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES
Processes physician orders accurately
Performs accurate initial and ongoing nursing assessments
Communicates with the medical team on patient status and follows up as ordered
Completes documentation as required, accurately and in a timely manner
Educates patient on medical tests, procedures, medication and other items as appropriate.
Accurately administers medications in all forms
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited LPN program
Licensed to practice as a LPN in the state of North Carolina
Ability to work well with male and female adult (18+) patients with Chemical dependency and Mental Health disorders
CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience caring for patients with substance use and/or mental health disorders
Knowledge of 12 step recovery programs
Knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders
