Description Through our comprehensive training programs, you will learn how to drive and operate our top of the line de-ice equipment on the airfield. Spray and treat aircraft with de-ice fluid to remove all snow, frost, ice, or other frozen precipitation in accordance with our deicing process. Perform other tasks that are required during the de-ice operation which include but not limited to: filling your truck with deice fluid, completing inspections of your truck, and communicating effectively via radios, etc. Abide by all safety guidelines & company policy & procedures during your shift. Training Includes: Airport SAFETY TRAINING Airport familiarity Deicing Concepts Deicing truck operation - in class & practical (hands on) Required Skills and Certifications Must be at least 18 years of age Possess a current/valid US Driver's License. Be able to pass 10-year Airport Security background check and mandatory drug screen. Pass all company provided training Schedule 4- 6-hour shift or more. Evening shift, Holidays, Night shift, On Call. Self-determined schedule with the ability to work more hours during active winter weather. Working Conditions This position requires duties to be performed in extreme outside weather conditions including rain, sleet, and snow. Must be comfortable with heights up to 50ft.
