Job Title: Construction Superintendent
Job Description
Develop and implement overall project work schedules identifying the critical path including the expediting of scheduled critical materials and equipment for their timely delivery to site.
Develop and manage the overall site safety program as required and ensure subcontractor compliance within standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
Oversee work among all trades to promote and coordinate project operations.
Resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters.
Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are in place and kept current for the term of the project and act as liaison to inspection agencies.
Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position working projects within the Athens area.
Work Environment
Superintendent will be expected to be on site at all times
Day-to-day tasks include running daily and weekly meetings covering the attack plan
Managing anywhere from 5-10 subcontractors at any time of the project
Scheduling and forecasting for the next phases of the project, conducting site walk inspections/lookaheads, following QC/QA checklists, keeping the project on scope and schedule, and managing deliveries of equipment/supplies.
