Robert Half Sales Development Representative in Winthrop, Minnesota

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sales Development Representative in the manufacturing industry, located in Winthrop, Minnesota. The role is primarily remote with potential for customer visit-related travel.

Responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with potential customers via telephone, email, and other electronic platforms to promote product and service categories.

• Identify and gain experience in new business prospects, advancing them through the sales funnel towards a suitable conclusion.

• Respond to inquiries initiated by customers or prospects, understand their needs or requirements, and guide the opportunity towards a sale or other relevant outcome.

• Maximize sales of products to existing customers by attempting to cross-sell or up-sell.

• Handle inbound leads from various sources such as website, stores, campaigns, and phone inquiries.

• Accurately assess the customer's business and applications, and identify the appropriate sales resource to follow up on experience in opportunities.

• Conduct the experience in process to set up introduction meetings with suitable sales resources to close opportunity.

• Identify, gain experience in, and deliver sales opportunities within Small Business, Mid-Market, and National/Global segments across the industrial portfolio.

• Leverage a dynamic sales process to achieve specific and measurable goals.

• Use Salesforce for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities. Requirements • Must possess strong sales skills and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

• Willingness to travel extensively as the role may require visiting client locations frequently.

• Prior experience in conducting client visits and the ability to handle on-site sales discussions.

• Proficiency in using Adobe Flex or similar software for creating and managing sales reports.

• Understanding of the manufacturing industry and familiarity with its unique sales dynamics.

• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
