Essential job Functions:

• Provides front line service to customers by booking air cargo shipments into an automated tracking system
• Handles and resolves customer complaints and special shipping needs
• Responds to customer questions regarding product or services
• Receives and processes shipment requests for Air export shipments from customers and Sales Department personnel and if needed provides information concerning pricing, rates, and changes in service
• Coordinates with customers by phone or in person to ensure the best service possible
• Refers compliants of product or service difficulties to appropriate departments for investigation
• Coordinates customers; service needs with other departments as required to ensure quality customer service
• May have to occasionally remain beyond core business schedule to assure customer satisfaction
• Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements:

• Must have solid understand of computer systems; MS Office
• Must be an organized and self motivated individual with ability to interface and function effectively in a high pressure multitasking environment while maintaining a professional demeanor with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to maintain sensitivity to proprietary matters
• Regular attendance
• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year in sales, customer service, or an operational coordination role in air export transportation, freight forwarding or air export cargo transport industry
