Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage, install, troubleshoot, and repair complex equipment to ensure efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities.

  • Ensure all production and facility equipment is functioning optimally.

  • Dismantle, re-install, and assemble machinery and plant equipment.

  • Coordinate activities of individual departments with other supervisors.

  • Diagnose production equipment failures and manage repairs.

  • Handle electrical work such as removing and replacing motors and fuses.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks and maintain equipment PM schedule.

  • Log maintenance activity on all equipment and manage routine building maintenance and repairs, including generators, air handling units, heating and cooling equipment, plumbing, etc.

  • Record maintenance data and activities to track proper maintenance of facilities equipment.

  • Utilize and interpret equipment manuals for proper operation and maintenance.

  • Generate purchase requisitions if necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Seven to ten years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with warehousing operations and knowledge of the impact on OSHA regulations.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must be trainable on vendor scheduling, part sourcing, and purchasing if not experienced in these areas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodinville, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.47
