Compensation - $27.00 to $28.00/hour

GENERAL PURPOSE: Balancing quality, productivity, safety and morale to positive results in all areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for directing, training, and assisting operators and production workers.

• Record daily numbers and send updated reports throughout the day and end of shift.

• Directly supervises up to 24 employees.

• Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.

• Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.

• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, especially safety policies.

• Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the other shifts and departments.

• Monitoring machine speeds

• Assisting with the onboarding process for the new hires. Training 30/60/90 days.

• Organize and direct the production of employees to achieve a satisfactory workflow. Staffing white board at start of shift.

• Understand and be able to operate all equipment and troubleshooting.

• Ability to understand the production schedule and ensure the schedule is followed.

• Performing all other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Three years working in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in machine operations in a manufacturing environment required.

• Strong communication skills with strong team building skills

• Ability to lead people and get results through others

• Quality orientation and attention to detail.

• Must demonstrate ability to direct work of others.

• Must be able to maintain good attendance.

• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
