Adecco is seeking an experienced Machine Operator in Newburgh, NY ! The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production, follow safety protocols, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Machine Operator

Location: Newburgh, NY (on-site)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 1st Shift (7 AM – 3:30 PM) or 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12 AM)

Pay Rate: $22 - $30 / hr. based on experience.

Temp to hire for the right person!

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC lathes, milling, and drilling machines for component fabrication.

• Set up, adjust, and secure machine tools, work holding, and materials.

• Perform basic math calculations and measure parts to ensure accuracy.

• Inspect parts using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

• Identify and resolve nonconformance with engineering and quality teams.

• Maintain records of work and defects, adhering to safety procedures.

• Work overtime as needed and maintain productivity in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• 5+ years of machining or manufacturing experience

• Proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks preferred

• Ability to read and edit G-code programming preferred

• Familiar with Mil-Spec standards and ISO 9000 quality requirements

• Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing environments

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
