Firmware Product Owner
Fluke in Poland is growing - we are setting up a new R&D team in Wroclaw to deliver our newest products. This is a rare opportunity to build a new team within already established environment.
The Product Owner will serve as an intermediary between the business stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring the prioritization of high value features. In collaboration with firmware engineers, they will define product requirements and contribute to the development of optimal firmware for our equipment. Their role will also encompass defining and managing the product backlog, developing user stories, and validating final product functionality. Active participation in the development of product strategy and keeping abreast of market trends will also be key to their role.
The requirements for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. It would be a plus if they have a Certified Product Owner (CPO) or similar certification, knowledge of Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with electrical engineering topics. Proven experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework, and experience with firmware development are essential. Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are also vital.

Your team:
You will be part of a global engineering organization with team members in Europe, North America, and Asia. You will be working with other engineers: HW Engineers, SW Engineers, ME Engineers, V&V Engineers.

Responsibilities:
Act as an intermediary between the business stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring the team works on the highest value features first.
Collaborate with firmware engineers to define product requirements and ensure optimal firmware for the produced equipment.
Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team is working on tasks that align with the business strategy and bring the most value.
Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication of product expectations to the Scrum team.
Work closely with the Scrum Master to facilitate team activities, remove impediments, and shield the team from external interferences.
Validate the functionality of the final product according to the product requirements.
Assist in the development and implementation of the company's product strategy.
Act as a subject matter expert in product domains and participate in product planning and roadmap discussions.
Actively monitor the market and competition, as well as technological advancements that can affect the product.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Product Owner (CPO) or similar certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role in product development teams.
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum framework, with a deep understanding of product owner's role and responsibilities.
Experience with firmware development and understanding of electronic test tools and software for measuring and condition monitoring.
Exceptional skills in problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly express complex concepts in simpler terms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, with a focus on translating user needs into product features.
