Education Requirement: High School Graduate or Equivalant, Bachelors in Engineering or related field preferred Experience Requirement: A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in construction project management or a related field. Working knowledge of construction trades is preferred. Familiarity with estimating applications, preparation of proposals, project management, conceptual estimating, job cost accounting, and scheduling for commercial construction. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus. Previous experience with project documentation, RFI management, and subcontractor coordination preferred. Special Skills: Expert in blueprint/plan reading and interpreting construction documents. Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to project location, generally within 2 hour radius of York, PA. We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Wagman Construction, Inc team. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the project team to ensure that projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, and are completed within budget. The Assistant PM will be held accountable for coordinating project activities, assisting with scheduling, resolving site issues, managing documentation, overseeing cost management, and supporting subcontractors. The Assistant PM supports the teams efforts to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, in compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting or exceeding the client's expectations. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in construction.

Qualifications:Good communication, organizational, administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.A solid understanding of construction processes and project management principles.Working knowledge of construction management, CPM schedule, & cost management software is required Procore, Primavera P6, & ViewPoint preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Essential Functions:Assist Project Manager and Superintendents in daily project management activities, including but limited to tracking and reporting progress, resolving site issues, and confirming the project stays on schedule and within budget. Manage project documentation including timesheets, invoices, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and permits. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.Collaborate and serve as a liaison between the project team, architects, owners, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.Assist with the coordination of subcontractors and vendors, confirming materials and supplies are delivered on time, and work is completed per project specifications.Help develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring that work activities are sequenced correctly, and all milestones are met.Monitor the performance of subcontractors and vendors to guarantee quality and timely delivery of materials and services.Ensure adherence to safety standards by communicating safety protocols, conducting safety inspections, and participating in site safety meetings.Resolve issues and conflicts related to design, materials, and work execution, working closely with subcontractors, vendors, designers, and project staff. Assist the Project Manager with preparing monthly progress reports, cost status reports, and owner billing.Monitor and maintain cost records for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions:Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods up to 7 hours.Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. occasionallyAble to occasionally bend, squat, kneel, and climb i.e., ladders throughout the workday.Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions hot, cold, wet, etc..Ability to travel to project sites and work at heights above 6 feet as necessary.Must have acceptable corrected vision and hearing.Company Benefits:
