Transportation Clerk, 2nd Shift - 1274  

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Location: 76 Acco Drive, York, PA 17402

Ecore is looking for a 2nd shift, Transportation Clerk to join their York, Pa team!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm

Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience)

Core Contributions:  * Safely operate yard trucks, forklifts, and skid loaders for trailer swaps, yard moves, loading/unloading materials, and transporting products.  * Collect and sign Bill of Ladings, accurately weigh trailers, and ensure correct documentation.  * Safely maneuver bagged products through the plant and provide production teams with necessary materials to meet demands.  * Maintain a clean work environment, including shipping and dock areas, and operate magnets/sweepers to prevent metal and rubber buildup.  * Perform equipment inspections, report maintenance issues, and follow all safety and quality guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.

Essential Experiences:  * High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of transportation, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.  * 12 months of forklift, skid loader, and yard truck/jockey operation.  * Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).  * Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and adapt in high-pressure environments.  * Proficient in basic math and understanding units of measure.  * Safety-conscious with the ability to meet physical demands of the job.  * Willingness to work overtime as needed.  * Strong communication skills and computer proficiency, with ERP experience preferred.
