[Responsibilities:]{.underline}

Perform skilled electrical work: wiring, installing and repairing switches, receptacles, plugs and relays and light fixtures. Plumbing duties include repairs and installations and unclogging sewage lines. Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and modification in and on various buildings, including in a prison environment under strict security conditions. Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair buildings' exterior and interior, mechanical and electrical equipment.  Other duties include painting, carpentry, repairing glass and hardware, replace floor tile, and assist in emergency clean-up duties. May perform emergency maintenance and repair after normal working hours on nights, weekends and holidays.

[Qualifications:]{.underline}

High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent technical school education or vocational training program and at least five (5) years progressively responsible experience in the building trades. Possession of a valid Driver's License.
