Job Title: 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician- Up to $30/hr!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing industrial machinery to ensure the smooth operation of our plant. You will work the third shift from 11pm to 6am, with a 50-hour work week starting in the second week.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Maintain and repair industrial production machinery to keep the plant running efficiently.

• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

• Disassemble and reassemble engines, clean, and replace parts such as pistons, valves, and clutches.

• Install new or reconditioned parts, including relined brake bands, clutch plates, sprockets, and pump cylinders.

• Install, repair, and replace industrial equipment following inspections.

• Test the function of pumps and other mechanical units using auxiliary power.

• Read blueprints and schematics accurately.

• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480V and wire 3-phase motors.

Essential Skills

• Service and maintenance of industrial machinery.

• Conveyor installation and repair.

• Welding and electrical troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of 3-phase motors and 480V systems.

• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.

• Preventive maintenance.

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• High school diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working the third shift from 11pm to 6am in a heavy steel manufacturing environment located in Youngstown. The facility is dirty and not well-lit, with a mix of new and old equipment. The team includes over 50 full-time workers and approximately 120 individuals in production, both full-time and temporary.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Youngstown, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
