Manage the development and implementation process of Autonomous Database Serverless, involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing projects and initiatives. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the inter-functional activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Responsibilities

Some specific responsibilities might include:

• Paying close attention and have a deep understanding of content management and regulation of the autonomous database code-base

• Delivery of projects on the marquee database offering of Autonomous Database

• Driving tooling and automations to help support content oversight and project delivery of autonomous database

• Developing and maintaining project plans, including project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and timelines

• Identifying and managing dependencies and associated risks associated

• Coordinating resources and tasks across multiple teams and disciplines

• Collaborating with developers and operations teams to understand and address technical challenges

• Monitoring and reporting on project progress to stakeholders

• Improving processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the development and operations teams.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background, excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with agile software development methodologies, is a must.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 3 to 5+ years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
