Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for candidates who can design, develop, analyze, and debug software programs for databases, applications, and tools for On-Premise and Cloud environments.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.

As a member of DB Cloud Test Dev Team, you will gain in-depth experience of various database cloud service offerings and specifically focused on Oracle Exadata Database Cloud and Oracle Multi-Cloud. Oracle multi-cloud services help customers modernize their databases and applications with unique capabilities, paired with leading services from Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You will work with highly motivated and enthusiastic engineers to develop test frameworks and tools to test various of services and deliveries of Oracle Multi-Cloud end-to-end from all aspects: Account Federation, Provisioning, Networking, Life Cycle Management, Integration, Database Connection, Metrics, Performance, and Security, etc.

You will also get opportunity to have customer interaction and engagement and see how customer uses our product. Your role is extremely important to customers as you help keep the bar high, control the quality of the deliveries, and address their issues and feedback at cloud speed. As you also work with global team members around the world, you will have very good opportunity to grow in this role. Job Requirements

· Bachelors / Masters from a premier institution

· 3+ years of work experience with relational databases

· Experience with languages like C/C++/Java/SQL/PL-SQL/Python/Perl/Shell

· Sound knowledge of CS fundamentals: operating systems, data structures, algorithms, compilers,

networking; artificial intelligence a plus

· Experience with Linux/Unix administration commands; storage/network configurations a plus
