Job Title: Tool Room Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool Room Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance, change grinding wheels, and maintain roll formers. You will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and assembling precision tools and dies used in manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will inspect and maintain roll form tooling dies, order replacement parts, and work with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Change grinding wheels and maintain roll formers.

• Disassemble, inspect, and assemble precision tools and dies used in manufacturing processes.

• Inspect and maintain roll form tooling dies.

• Assemble tools and dies, ensuring they meet precise tolerances and specifications.

• Order replacement parts and work with vendors.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with manual mills and surface grinders.

• Experience working with blanking dies, progressive dies, and high-speed stamping dies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Tool and Die Machining experience.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Coachable and willing to train.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 11pm. The work environment is a manufacturing machine shop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zionsville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
