Snr Director Quality & Compliance
This role assumes overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring Quality & Compliance requirements are effectively implemented and adhered to throughout the end-to-end supply chain operations for the Selfcare portfolio and Franchise.
This end-to-end scope includes assurance of Quality and Compliance processes in Supplier Quality Management, Internal Manufacturing Quality and External Manufacturing Quality
The role will have direct oversight and accountability for the Quality organizations supporting the Selfcare franchise in term of the end-to-end Supply Chain, which are
Regional Supplier Quality Management (depending on priorities, this may be direct or indirect reporting lines but accountability for allocated Supply Chain Franchise remains)
Internal Make sites (Helsingborg, Cape Town, Madrid, Val De Reuil)
All External Manufacturing sites supporting the Selfcare portfolio (including additional global responsibilities in cases where region serves as leading manufacturing market)
For these organizations, this role will have responsibility to
Ensure overall compliance to applicable Health Authority requirements Develop, Deploy and effective implement all regional Quality & Compliance strategies for the End-to-End Supply Chain
Ensure understanding, integration, and alignment of Regional Q&C as well as Regional Supply Chain Strategy strategies
Provide excellent leadership on People agenda to ensure strong career development, focused talent development and retention by amplifying effective implementation of Global and Regional tools and mechanisms for DE&l, Talent development and Recognition Drive best in class Quality & Compliance, with strong culture of Continuous improvement, Fit for Purpose and Fit for Regulation.
Provide Q&C leadership and proactive management of quality and compliance risks in tandem with EMEA business growth. Collaborate with country and global business functions to establish vision and strategies for governance of Internal and External manufacturing sites.
The role will require strong collaboration and effective ways of working with Regional Franchise Quality Leaders to ensure alignment of Franchise Quality strategies to be executed in the end-to-end Supply Chain quality operations.
The role will partner with the regional Supply Chain leaders for the assigned Franchise ensuring that relevant Quality and Compliance matters are escalated for effective, sustainable resolution.
The position will be measured primarily on
Compliance against Global Quality Metrics goals and objectives
Availability of people for critical positions with required competencies
Development and success of direct reports and hi-potential candidates
Delivery of robust compliant and uninterrupted supply of products and materials from EMEA sites
Manage Regional resources and financial budgets in line with Global Quality strategies and support objectives on efficient/flexi workforce and end to end budget control
Ensure suppliers, internal, external manufacturing sites meet Quality & compliance requirements and key KPIs in compliance with Consumer Health Quality standards, local regulations and Health authority expectations.
Qualifications
Requirements for this role:
Education - BS (Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics and/or related sciences) is required
MBA preferred or related business degree/experience preferred Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Quality and Compliance in the Pharmaceutical or OTC industry required
Experience working successfully within a complex EMEA regulatory landscape Previous site quality leadership experience is required
Experience in Drug development and manufacturing process/practice is required
Excellent working knowledge of quality & Supply Chain organizations
Experience with quality systems, regulations, digital & continuous improvement tools
Proven strong Strategic Leadership with demonstrated delivery of transformation
Strong Consumer and Customer centricity Solid experience in Supplier Quality Management across complex portfolio
Solid experience in managing Quality operations for Internal and External manufacturing sites
Effective change management, communication, and stakeholder management
Experience in effective management of operational cost and capital investment plans
Manage programs across a broad complex portfolio and landscape with large team leadership across multiple locations
Experience and success in quality auditing of Suppliers, Internal and external manufacturing sites
